Recasting a Classic Sep. 13th, 2005 @ 11:36 pm
This is another comic based on things I did with my kids when they were younger. It wasn't until the last couple years that my oldest daughter realized that the second panel wasn't really part of the rhyme! True story!

A classic story tale gets complicated Sep. 12th, 2005 @ 09:36 pm
The idea for the first strip is a story I'd tell my kids when the wanted to hear a story just to stall the inevitable trip to bed. This usually happened after the third or fourth story of the evening. The humor wore off (for them!) after the first telling.

The complications that come along in the next comic stem from my belief that anyone can start a family in whatever manner they want with the sustained input of love, care, communication, and compassion.

KoDT Haiku Sep. 10th, 2005 @ 11:14 pm
Okay, not many people will understand this. I'm okay with that. These comics are my homage to the characters (and authors/artists) of my favorite magazine.

KoDT is the acronym for Knights of the Dinner Table, a comic book and trade magazine for the role-playing community. By "role-playing" I mean real role-playing - dice, paper, pencils, the occasional map or figure and, of course, caffeinated sugar water.

These comics were generated with the comic Strip Generator, a web treasure.

Wastin' Time.... (but having fun) Sep. 5th, 2005 @ 01:14 am
Okay, so my "friend" Bri... I mean Andre Klemmer led me down a dark path, this weekend. He asked me to go check out the aforementioned blog. What do I find? A link to a site that allows me to create my own comic strip without benefit of drawing lessons.

Following this link resulted in the following travesties:

Sheesh!

Whatever you do, don't go there!
